missingvolumeAs the author’s note in the beginning of the book states this is the beginning of a new arc in this story universe. She refers to it as the beginning of season two. What this comes across is more of a place for new readers to start since almost every character is on the page at some point in the story. About the only shifters you really don’t see in this one is the bird shifters. Everybody had some time in the story and there are no large plot developments or new reveals. Some small plot threads get finished from the previous books so in the end this one is a bit of let’s see how everyone is and setting the stage for the next story arc.
It was an enjoyable read but not as fun as most of her books. Granted I’ll be chomping at the bit for the next one.
