missingvolumeI finished this a while ago but forgot to post it. The book starts with the 3 big foodie names Julia Child, James Bard and Craig Claiborne and gives lots of history about them and how they got interested in the food industry. The later chapters goes into detail about different food fads in this country. I learned quite a bit about American food history and there are lots of great tidbits in the book that you can sprinkle into your next dinner party about food.
