#35 Vampire$ by John Steakley

I had to say I really liked this book. I had seen the movie John Carpenter's Vampires but as usual it was nothing like the book. This is a gritty vampire hunting book with none of the fru-fru vampires that seem to be around lately. Now I want to read his other book Armor to see if it is as good as this one.

Go. Read. Armor. Now.

Steakley is quite good. Armor will not disappoint. It is often regarded as military science fiction, but it focuses on the people, and not the details of the weapons, other than as needed for the story (you'll see what I mean).

Great ending!

And on your recommendation, I will go buy Vampire$ now. IS the '$' a typo.

Oh, and freaking eggs just arrived. The guy I had ship them to me took fooooooooorrrrevvvvverrrrrrr. Also, he smooshed about about 20%. We ate 3 of the damaged ones and they contained World Cup soccer toys. I am going to get ur doz (enuf?) off this Monday. I bought 50, ate about 6 there, ate 3 here, and of the 41 left. 5 aren't presentable. But they taste fine ;-)

Finally. Sry.

Yes it is with a dollar sign. I'll try to read it before Libertycon since he will be there.

I was wondering about the eggs. A dozen will be great. Even broken they taste just fine and the toys work great.

They get there?
