missingvolumeThis is where I confess I have never read Little Nemo before. But as a reader you really don’t need to have read the previous book since it follows the princess as she is getting a new playmate, a little boy named Jimmy who happens to have the middle name of Nemo. Jimmy doesn’t want to be called Nemo and he certainly doesn’t want to play with a girl. Of course they have adventures and he changes his mind about never going back to Slumberland. A fun read even if it was rather short and the illustrations were just beautiful. I think I’ll have to track down the original and give it a shot.
