#127 Fables, Vol. 19: Snow White by Bill Willingham , Mark Buckingham
Even though Snow is on the cover and in the title the first part of the collection tells what happened to Bufkin in Oz. This does seem to cover his entire life after and he never really goes back to Fabletown. I liked it and it was a nice ending to a character in the beginning that seemed so minor but becomes a hero in the end.
Snow ends up having to deal with her former betrothed who claims to be her husband and he takes her and simply states he will kill Bigby and all their children so he can have a fresh start with her. This is legal according to the laws of the country they grew up in and that makes it binding in Fabletown until they can somehow change the laws. Rose Red works with the witches to find some way to break the magic surrounding Brandish since any attack he suffers bounces back onto Snow. By the end of story arc one problem is taken care of but a much larger problem takes it place. A rough cliffhanger ending of sorts and I don't think it is the best spot for someone to jump in but it is doable since you also get some of other Fables dealing with Geppetto in Flycatcher's Kingdom.
