missingvolumeI read this so I could talk about it at my book club and make the best choice on the Hugo ballot this year. This took a long time to read and the story unfolded so slowly. In 300 years we have colonized most of the solar system and there are factions working against one another. I really think the story could have been trimmed down a bit and still gotten most of the plot. If you like long thought out, heavy detailed books then this one is for you. Not sure if there is any sequel planned but I'm not looking for it.
