missingvolumeThis novella was part of the Hugo voter pack that I read this past summer. A SF police procedural with a murder investigation being interrupted by the police's AI mainframe stolen out of the police station. Not only is this a straight mystery there is also commentary on how people treat AIs. A good read and if there is more in this this world later on I certainly would read it.
