The ex-wife of the client from the previous book wants to hire Gideon and his crew for a new job, this time he needs to go to Vegas and steal the Masque of Ra. Since the Ghost isn’t available, we meet someone from Gideon’s past he recruits for this heist. There is the usual complications that they defeat and are successful in the end. A quick enjoyable heist story with lots of magic and last-minute saves to the plan. Even when they are being bad they are doing good.
