#81 Harrow the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir, Moira Quirk (Narrator)

I loved the first book and was a bit confused by this one in the beginning. The book screams unreliable narrator to the reader if they have read the first book. It can be a bit of a slog, but the end does payoff. I did bounce off it the first time I read it but other people loved it so I looked up how it ended and then went back and listened to the entire thing on audio. I might have enjoyed it a bit more if I had read it right after the first book but I don’t think I will be do a reread.

#82 Rock Paper Scissors by Devon Monk

 

Three novellas with each having a different sister on a different holiday at the main POV.  Jean gets do deal with gnomes coming to life every Halloween.  Delaney has Christmas where she gets a great gift from Crow and a very special one from Ryder.  Myra gets Valentines as her story frame and finds another demon is able to access a tiny sliver of Ordinary.  These three stories al tie into the main series and need to be read before the next book in the series.
