#11 A Dead Djinn in Cairo by P. Djèlí Clark, Suehyla El-Attar (Narrator)

 

Special Investigator Fatma el-Sha’arawi is working a case of a djinn that has committed suicide but things don’t add up and a clue leads them to the mysterious angels. Even if the angels are not true angles people treat them as such and they hold themselves above mortal affairs. Fatma must solve the case before the person behind the djinn’s death and others can finish what they started.

 

I read the book that follows this story first and they do mention it in that book but it is nice to have all the details  Also the same narrator of the novel does this short story as well.
