#43 A Marvellous Light by Freya Marske
Sep. 15th, 2021 10:54 amMagic is part of life but hidden from nonmagical folk. When Robin Blyth is appointed into a government position as an act of revenge against his dead parents, he is thrust headfirst into a world of magic that he knows nothing about. His counterpart Edwin Courcey, a cold and reserved minor magician but excellent spellcrafter tries to help him and get a curse off of him that was done in part to find something the previous office holder hid. This book sets up the world and unravels the mystery of the missing item. It also starts a budding romance between the two. I enjoyed the book and I’m interested to see where it will go next for the magical world of England.
