#44 American Demon by Kim Harrison

Back to the Hollows and dealing with the fallout of the previous book. This can start as a starting point for someone that hasn’t read the previous ones since there is a lot of discussion of what happened before due to all the fallout from the ending to The Witch with No Name. Rachel and Trent are the focus of the book which is good as a restart since trying to shoehorn in the vamps and weres as well would be a bit much for one book. There should be more vamps in future books with what was mentioned. There a few hat tips to things that happened in The Turn but a reader will not be lost if they haven’t read that book yet either. Glad there is a new book in this universe and can’t wait for more.
