#43 The Umbrella Academy, Vol. 1: The Apocalypse Suite by by Gerard Way, Gabriel Bá, Dave Stewart

I picked this up after watching the series on Netflix and wanting more background. If you come to the book this way things are very different than what is between these covers. Not bad, just different. This leaves you with way more questions than answers. The basic premise is the same that 7 children were adopted after being born on the same day to mothers that were not pregnant the day before. They are trained to be a superhero team but as they get older the team stops working together. I really don’t’ want to say much more since there are huge spoilers for the book and the show.
