#7 Early Riser by Jasper Fforde

This is a new setting for Fforde, a world where people hibernate during the winter and a few hardy souls take care of them and society. There is the same theme of a bad corporation in this one that controls the drugs people use to hibernate. Charlie gets a job working for the Winter Consuls at pretty much the last minute. And he quickly finds out that everything he knew about staying awake during the winter is wrong. He is quickly sucked into a mystery about viral dreams and pulled between the two factions in Section 12 all while trying to stay alive and do the right thing. The worldbuilding is great in this book as with all his novels and I was sad to finish it even with the good solid ending.
