This arc is more of a set up for the next stretch of stories. The part I liked was there was almost no back story at all in this set of issues, the story goes straight forward and leaves you with a bit of a cliffhanger with Hazel and her parents. Only one new character gets introduced to the story and that is more of the B story thread. This is not the volume to start with but with only 3 previous collections it shouldn’t take someone long at all to catch up. Now to wait for the next volume.
