#103 Tangle of Need by Nalini Singh

This one is a changeling romance with the two parties certain they will never have a bond. Riaz, a lone wolf who did find his mate but she is married and in love with someone else and he will not break up the relationship and Adria a dominate woman licking her wounds after a failed relationship. They are attracted to one another but both of them refuse to have a serious relationship. Of course the road to true love will have some bumps but it does happen in the end. The war plot moves along but nothing huge. Still entertained by it so will keep reading.

#104 Festive in Death by J.D. Robb

It is Christmas time again and Eve and Roarke are gearing up for their Christmas party.  Eve has to solve a murder of a personal trainer that was a huge narcissist jerk. And the possible people list of people that might have had a reason to kill him is fairly long due to his practice of drugging, raping and then blackmailing his clients when they think that under the drugs they were consenting to the sex. The supporting cast at this point is what makes the books so enjoyable to read.
