#140 Night Owls by Lauren M. Roy

A college town bookstore with very late hours run by a vampire and her Renfield receive more than they bargain for when they agree to hold a rare book for one of their professor customers. Turns out the book is wanted by the Creeps [this universes version of werewolves] and they kill the professor in order to try and get the book. Turns out the Creeps are slowly dying and they want the book hoping it will help them.  Even with with being book one in a new series the gathering of the good guys to defend the book works. Lots of story threads are planted in this book for exploration in later books to come. A good solid fun read.
