#112 Bastion by Mercedes Lackey

Mags returns after being rescued and wonders when they will come for him again. The solution it seems is to send him away with a few friends and keep the trouble out of the capital. Yes there are guardsmen but they are not within shouting distance for a rescue so during a snowstorm everything comes to a head. At least you get all the reasons why they were after him in the first place. Hopefully this story line is now played out but I'm not sure if there will be any more stories with Mags or not now that he will soon become a full Herald.

#113 B.P.R.D., Vol. 17: Vampire by Mike Mignola, Fábio Moon, Gabriel Bá, Dave Stewart

I am way behind on reading these but even so you don't need a lot of back story to know what is going on. This is set in the 1940's and deals with witches and vampires. I don't want to say too much but it was pretty good. If you are looking for Hellboy all you get is a few shots of him in the background. You do get some more on his father and him running the BPRD. A good entertaining read and I really need to read more of them.
