#65 Archangel's Storm by Nalini Singh

This series seems to be rotating primary viewpoint characters as the main story arc goes forward. The main layer here is Jason as he has been sent to find a murder in an angel's palace. The reader finds out more about the angels as usual and of course by the end of the story the mystery is solved. love is found and more players are added to the overall story line. Good entertaining read but not a book to start the series with if you don't want spoilers. 

#66 When Will You Rise: Stories to End the World by Mira Grant

I was able to track down an uncorrected proof while I am waiting for my hardcover copy to arrive. There are two stories in here. The first is the novella Countdown that was available only in electronic form. This is from the Newsflesh series and is a prequel to the series but can be read at any point since I read it after reading the first two books.It was a nice background on how the this world came to be. The short story  “Apocalypse Scenario #683: The Box,” is not set in the Newsflesh universe but it certainly could be and how the story folds out it really is rather creepy. This story was also only available in eformat only.  A tasty read about the beginnings of the end of the world.
