#19 Pale Demon by Kim Harrison

 If you haven't read the books and you decide to start you really must read them in order along with the short stories. Otherwise you will be drinking from a firehose not knowing everything that has gone on. I really liked this one and you got more of what goes on the demon side of things and their economy  as well.  Hopefully everything will settle down for a little while for Rachel and friends just so they can get their feet under themselves again and maybe solve a case that doesn't involve them.
