#17 Tears of the Furies by Christopher Golden & Thomas E. Sniegoski

 I read this one a few days after reading book one and it does follow fairly quickly in that universe's timeline. The reader will not be lost since most of the plot of the previous book is woven into the entire book but not really done as an info dump.  The same 

players are back for a second round of saving the world and they do a good job at it.. I have books 3 and 4 in the queue to read sometime in the near future.
