I picked this up after a few other people mentioned it and were excited that the sequel was out. It reminded me of Sorcery and Cecelia which I really loved but I did feel that the book was a bit large for the story contained in it. I don't think I'll be running out for the sequel since I have a lot of other things to read but I will keep my out for it once my TBR pile thins down a bit.
