#7 Angels' Blood by Nalini Singh

I read a short story in Must Love Hellhounds that introduced me to this new series. In this world angels have daily interactions with this world and vampires work for angels. Turns out that angels make vampires and angels hire the guild to hunt down rogue vampires that violate the rules or try to skip out on their contracts. This book covers a hunt that Elena was hired by the archangel Raphel. Elena is hunting down a rogue angel instead. The world is interesting and of course the two leads fall in love even though Elena fights her feelings for the angel convinced that it is all a game and she will be tossed aside. There is also some backstory on Elena that comes to light during her hunt even though it doesn't have anything to do with the main plot line.
