#76 Knots And Crosses (Inspector Rebus, Book 1) by Ian Rankin

I decided to read these years ago but kept forgetting to about it when I was at the library. The series is set in the 80's in Scotland.  Rebus isn't the best guy in the world but he is a good police detective. This book sets up a good mystery and gives all the back story on Rebus in one fell swoop.  A good mystery and I'll be glad to keep reading them.
