#68 Redemption Alley by Lilith Saintcrow

This is the third book in the series. This time around Jill's partner isn't around and she gets help with her hunt from Theron. What starts out as as two cases one hunting scurf and the other poking around in mundane police politics because a friend of the force asked her to look into a suicide of a friend's old partner.  In the end the two cases are part of the same one and Jill takes cares of business. I think I like this series a lot better than the Dante Valentine series even though the heroine has to "deal with the devil" in different ways.
