#53 Naamah's Kiss by Jacqueline Carey

The book is set about 100-150 years after the last book. No tragedy to start the journey of Moirin but a request of her goddess, Moirin is a half Alba  half D'Angeline. She ends up traveling to Terra D'Angeline and then onto Asia as she follows her goddess wishes. Along the way she learns more about herself and the world. I like the world building in these books and I know I will be reading the next one. The nice thing about this book is that if you haven't read the other 6 books you really don't need to mostly because this is the great granddaughter of someone from an earlier book but you don't have to know about that person.
