#23 Dayhunter by Jocelynn Drake
Apr. 28th, 2009 11:14 amThe book picks up right after the battle at the end of the last book and events never really give Mira or the hunter time to catch their breaths. Mira is plunged back into the politics of the Vampire Council as soon as she arrives in Venice and finds out that maybe vampires are being betrayed after finding out there is a naturi in the heart of Venice and is dealing with the Council. The pace never lets up in the book and once again it ends with another battle with the naturi. What was interesting was the reader finds out of the centuries long plan to let humans know about vampires and the other supernatural beings in the world and the timetable is being pushed forwards. The story was fun and it is a new twist on all the other vampire books out there.
