This is the third book in the series and the authors note states that it will be the last one. In a way it is nice that the series gets wrapped up but I did like Fred the mermaid. This one deals with the aftermath of the Undersea folk coming out to the surface dwellers. It aslo deals with Fred's father coming back in to the picture. The story wraps up nicely but I really hope that she might give us a short story or two set in Fred's universe later on down the road.
