This is another of the Women of the Otherworld books. This one features Hope again. I don't really care for Hope's talent but I do have to admit it is a nice change of pace against the usual powers that most urban fantasy heroines get. The antagonist of the book is a clairvoyant so that gave new insight to one of the supernaturals discussed in the book without making them into a new heroine for the next book. It was interesting in showing how life can be for a normal who gets mixed up in the politics of the supernaturals. Overall a good book but not one that I think would be a good starting point for people new to the series.
