This book picks up 2 months after Betsy's honeymoon. Betsy's mistakes come back to bite her. This seems like the series is caning up outstanding plot threads. Ms. Davidson states in her foreword that this book is the first in a 3 book story arc and that is one of the reasons they cover art style has changed. Looking at the book if you were a new reader there is enough back story given to get you into the story line without being lost. A fun quick read.
