#35 The Summoning (Darkest Powers, Book 1) by Kelley Armstrong

This is a young adult book based in the Women of the Otherworld series.  It is a good kickoff book for anyone that hasn't read the books and it is written at a young adult level. If you have read the books before , it seems the story unfolds slowly. I think part of that is this is book one in a series and not a complete story like most of her books. I think I will wait until books 2 and 3 are out together so I will have the complete story to read in one setting.
