#19 Little Brother by Cory Doctorow

This is a YA novel set in the near future. Terrorists bomb an Francisco and Marcus and 3 of his friends are scooped up by DHS near one of the bomb sites. After a few days in custody, 3 of the kids are released but one that was injured during the chaos is held back. They are threatened with more detention if they tell anyone what happened to them. The book plays out as a possible near future event that was rather chilling. The kids in the book are all very tech savvy and they struggle to stay ahead of the system now in place to watch everyday citizens.
