#2 A Grave Talent by Laurie R King

This is the first in the Kate Martinelli series. A modern day murder mystery set in San Francisco. I really enjoyed it and liked how the writer develops the characters in the books. Her description of a painter and the paintings in the book make me wish that this painter was real and I could see the art.
