2007 in review
Jan. 12th, 2008 03:44 pmWell I just finished posting the last of my catchup reviews. If you missed them they are all on December 31st as several entries.
I had a few books that I was in the middle of reading in 2007 but unfinished until 2008 so as usual they will go on 2008.
I read a few short stories in collections that I just couldn't get into the rest of the collections. Prom Dates from Hell which I picked up for the Kim Harrison story and Dead of Night for the JD Robb story, both books just couldn't hold me past the two stories and I skimmed the other stories in the books but just couldn't be bothered to finish any of them. I started reading Many Bloody Returns but I haven't finished that one since I wasn't in the mood for short stories not that the stories were bad. I think I will save the rest of the book for a rainy day.
Looking back at my LJ this is my second highest year with 76 read since I decided to track my reading. Hopefully using tags I will be able to keep better track of the nonfiction vs fiction I am reading. I know I slacked off on reading the nonfiction this year but hopefully I will get back in the grind. Of course the nonfiction I tend to read lately is food related but I don't think that will surprise my friends.
