#50 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows

Yes I got it and I tried to make it last but it didn't work. I'm not saying a damn thing about what happens because I don't want to spoil it for anyone. My only complaint is the epilogue is too short.

#51 The Last Colony by John Scalzi

So here ends the trilogy of this universe. The heroes from book one are plucked from retirement to lead a new colony. The colony name is Roanoke. And if was me I would have gone running for the hills with a colony name like that. I mean seriously what were these people thinking! The thing is it was "lost " on purpose due to galactic politics. The good news it doesn't end up like its namesake and is found. Of course the finding is political as well. John and Jane do the best they can to protect the colony, politics be damn. It was a nice wrap up to the series of books. I liked it and would like to see another one maybe 50 or so years out dealing with the fallout from the last few chapters.
