#37 Burning Bridges by Laura Anne Gilman

This is the latest Retrievers novel. More goings on with the killing of the Fatae and the fragile truce with the Fatae, lone jacks & Council. Things come to a head by the end of the book and decisions are made. One small story arc is finally wrapped up in this book and that was nice that it happened. Things are happening with the Silence that draws both Sergi and Wren back even as they pull away and try to work on the truce to find the people behind the Fatae killings. No real big job in this story but with so much going on with people and behind the scenes that is a good thing for our heroes.

#38 Tithe by Holly Black

This is a young adult novel that really rocked. The tone of it reminded me a bit of Martin Millar, just less drugs and drinking for some reason. A nice twist of a story where it is told from the point of a changeling that doesn't know she is one due to the excellent glamour that was put upon her. I really can't say too much about the story without giving away the plot but I enjoyed it quite a bit and I know I will be reading the next two novels pretty soon.
