#57 California Demon by Julie Kenner

This is the sequel to Carpe Demon.  The one is just as fun as the first one and as far as I could tell didn't really require you to have read the first one. With this book, Kate spends more time thinking about her departed first husband and her current husband is still getting ready to run for the local DA's job. This is written in a chick lit tone and is a refreshing change of pace to the usual kickass heroines that seem to be all over the bookstore. And I will be looking out for the next one in the series.
