#48 Echo Park by Michael Connelly

This is a review copy I read but I doubt there will be any real changes to the story. Bosch is still on the cold case/open unsolved section of LAPD.  One of the case that he never solved back in the day comes into the spotlight with a plea deal from a serial killer.  Harry is horrified to learn that they missed a clue that could have put this guy away before he killed so many more people. As usual things are never as they appear in one of Connelly's books. I was up all night reading it in one sitting. I don't want to say anything more than what is blurbed on the DJ so it doesn't spoil anything for anybody. Harry does the things he is known to do and we will have to wait for the next book to see if that impacts his career or not. I'm just hoping they don't. Harry on the force is a lot better than Harry trying to be a private detective.
