Backdating to get the last of 2005 up
Dec. 31st, 2005 02:02 pmSo I'm behind as usual and only just listing more things I read in 2005 but forgot to post. Yes this is backdated so I doubt anyone will see it anyway but the backdate will help me total everything I have read.
Seven Up and Hard Eight by Janet Evanovich, Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain, The Devil's Cup by Stewart Lee Allen, Music to My Sorrow by Mercedes Lackey and Rosemary Edghill, Raven's Strike by Patricia Briggs and maybe some more but I lost the sticky note I had been using as a list.
Kitchen Confidential wasn't as fun as A Cook's Tour but I still liked it. The Devil's Cup wasn't nearly as good as In the Devil's Garden : A Sinful History of Forbidden Food. I'm a caffeine junkie but the book was too much about the writer and less about coffee.
Maybe I hadn't updated these because I didn't care for them as much as previous books by te same writers or that I just got lazy about updating again. Who knows but 2006 is a brand new year of reading and I'm almost halfway done with the first nonfiction book of the year.
