I bought this ARC as soon as I found out it was coming out in March 2006. I figured it was a good present to myself since I like Kim Harrison and Kelley Armstrong. The other 2 writers I hadn't read but their stories were 3ntertaining as well.
Undead in the Garden of Good and Evil is the Harrison piece and it is a wonderful story about Ivy and the events leading up to her meeting Rachel. It added a lot to Ivy's history and helps flesh out the previous three books. I really need to reread them now.
The Claire Switch Project by Lynsay Sands is a a cute story. Less paranormal and more mad scientist. You could tell where the story was going but it was a fun trip. Might have to check out her other stuff.
Chaotic by Kelley Armstrong is set in her Women of the Otherworlds series. We get to meet a new kind of half demon and I need to check the previous books to see if the werewolf had been mentioned before. The story is great since you don't need to have read any of the other books to know what is going on in this story. I really want to see Hope in more books and maybe get her own.
Dead Man Dating by Lori Handeland was ok. Maybe it was the late hour I was reading it but to me it was just ok. Not every story has to appeal to everyone but it was a bit of a dud for me.
