Jun. 29th, 2005 09:29 pmThe latest main storyline Honor Harrington book trundles right along after the events of War of Honor. It covers a longer time frame. I have to admit I was glad to see someone close to Honor die in war. It has almost gotten to be a bit silly that she knows so many people and yet so few have died compared to what seems to be a high death rate with the war with Haven.
Personal issues are resolved and the Mesa/Manpower stirring the kettle is covered. I have to admit that now the storyline has fully jumped the Nelson/Napoleonic wars framework it should be getting interesting. A big fat read but I doubt it will keep the fans happy since they will be wanting the next book just as soon as they finish this one.
