Well I don't read that many anthologies anymore but I decided to pick up this one. Several stories had a flavor of "Lord Darcy" about them and those stories I loved. I still reread the old Darcey mysteries when I can't sleep. The only real disappointment for me in this collection was that everything was short. Several of the stories were based in that writer's universe so you had some continuity. One story I really liked was not based in a all ready developed universe and it kind of irked me that I wanted more. This is the main reason I don't read short fiction. It is just enough to whet the appetite but not really fill you up.
