Death and Thraxas by Martin Scott
Nov. 27th, 2004 06:14 pmThis is a two in one novel comprising of Thraxas at the Races and Thraxas and the Elvish Isles. The real question is does it count as one or two books? LOL. I guess I'll count it as one since I started off the year only counting half of the previous Baen edition. The books are described perfectly on one of the back quotes at pulp fantasy noir. I like them better than Glen Cook's detective series. Martin Scott is the pen name of Martin Millar. Under is Martin Millar name, the books are set in modern England with a lot of drug use and subculture. My hands down favorite book by him is The Good Fairies of New York. It is out of print and a bit expensive.
Of course the real question is, do I wait for the next omnibus by Baen or do I have them shipped over from the UK.
