#2 Hammered by Kevin Hearne

I tend to hold off reading books I am looking forward to until I am traveling so I can read them in one sitting and know I will enjoy the book. Being on a plane and reading a book that sucks is something I don't want to care to repeat.

This book has Atticus finally going after Thor with a group of supernatural beings that all have an ax to grind with the hammer wielding bully. Atticus is warned several times not to do it that dire things will happen but a promise is a promise. He also plans to move since everyone now knows where he lives and works. The ending leaves you wanting the next book to find out what happens in the last few pages and that is all I will say about that.

Glad to hear the series is worth a read. I picked up the first one months ago for my Kindle, but have held off after reading some reviews. Yours, I trust. ;-)

The series really reminds me of the Dresden Files. There is another 3 books under contract and if they keep with doing a three book story arc each time that would be even cooler. Some days I despair of the 10 plus book series that you have to read from start to finish to get everything out of it.
