missingvolume Peabody's first case as primary moves to less than the B story plot in this book with the main plotline being the case that Peabody stumbles over of police corruption at some of the higher levels in the police dept. Mostly the gang of characters that are working with the police show up in this book but Mavis does get to make a quick cameo which is just fun. Another great fun read for fan of the series.
