missingvolume Years late to the bandwagon I finally got a copy of this to read and I liked it but I don't think it was the most amazing thing I have ever read. Not sure if that is because of what everyone that had told me about the books being so great and I had great expectations or if since it was mostly someone recounting their childhood and young adult years. Granted there is action and tension and it is a great set up but that is what the book is mostly a large setup for the rest of the story. I'll hold off reading the next one until the third book is out.
