 This is the direct sequel to Masques,  which I liked when I read it years and years ago and then reread the rewrite of the same novel that was released a few months ago.  This one is set a few months after Masques and has Aralorn going home for her father's funereal but surprise he is only mostly dead due to magic.  The rest of the story has her trying to fix this and has Wolf exploring the green magic part of his heritage.  Light fun fantasy novel and I'll read the next one when it comes out.
