#67 Tongues of Serpents: A Novel of Temeraire by Naomi Novik

The 6th book in the series has Lawrence and Temaraire in Australia. The majority of the story has them crossing across the country and they of course meet up with some Asian dragons. The book felt more like a way point in the story arc instead of a big leap forward in plot. I like the universe but I wanted more action in the story. This of course will not stop me from reading the next one.

Thanks for the heads-up, didn't realize it was out.

The fifth book (whose title escapes me at present un-caffeinated condition) seemed to plod a bit for me.

Then this one might as well do the same. For me it seemed more smaller actions and no real big battles. There is some political stuff but again nothing earth shattering.
