#64 Chimera by Rob Thurman

A SF novel from an urban fantasy writer that I like. Well the SF part is very mild since it could almost be more as a thriller since the only SF part is DNA  manipulation.  Don't get me wrong it is a good story and the twist at the end is a bit heartbreaking. The plus side to this book is it can work as a stand alone novel or the start of a series. I'm all for stand alone stories even if it doesn't make sense marketing wise.  A good book if you are wanting to sneak some SF into someone's mainstream fiction diet.

I liked this book and it was more of a supernatural suspense/thiller than a scifi/fantasy like the others

I liked it and agree with the heartbreak bit
