The premise of the book is good with a blind girl agreeing to some experimental eye surgery to see that has the outcome of letting her "see" the internet.  The book does a very realistic teen girl and there were interesting subplots in the book but it does suffer from a weakness of being a planned trilogy in that the subplots are left dangling at the end.  So I don't think I will be reading the next one until I have the third one in hand.
